Before Callie's bisexual curiosity, there was Dr. Kerry Weaver who showed all children needed were loving parents. Before Dr. Burke's hand conspiracy, there was Jeanie Boulet's bout with contracting the Human immunodeficiency virus. Before Seattle Grace it was County General in Chicago. Thursday nights were owned by the residents of ER. After 15 years my mother's favorite TV drama (besides the late Boston Public and The Practice) will come to an end.
