September 13 is the date set for (M)TV's annual Video Music Awards. Bringing the the show back to NY, MTV promises "the city will never be the same." British lad Russel Brand is to host again (really?), and performers so far include the most annoying artist next to Hannah Montana - Taylor Swift and Muse(?). That shows you how much music television I see these days. I will say I;m looking forward to their just Michael Jackson tribute since he essentially made MTV the music mogul it was years before the Internet and reality TV. I hope you're watching Debra Levil.
