When we first got the Disney Channel in our household we felt we had hit the jackpot. We could see Disney Originals and other animated 30-minute shows that were our of our reach beforehand. It was just around that time Disney decided to invest in early reality tv...for kids. Bug Juice was the Real World for anyone 14 years of age and below. The drama played out at that summer camp was juicy enough for you to watch each week; "they don't like me," "does he like me," "I want to go home." It was such an original.
